We recently installed the network interface panel on a brand new Epson DS-7500. I installed the drivers/software on my laptop running Windows 8 and have no issues scanning to a file on this laptop. When trying to do the same thing on a computer running Windows 7 (on a MacBook in Parallels), it doesn't work. If we load a document and then go to the Win7 computer and open "Epson Scan" and click scan, it will work. So, it only works one way.
Steps:
1. Load document in document feeder, and press scan.
2. It asks where you want to place the file and starts searching for computers. It never finds the Windows 7 computer. It will find my Windows 8 computer.
Tried:
1. Reinstalling drivers/software on Windows 7 machine.
2. Disabling Windows Firewall (only other security software is MS Security Essentials)
3. Searched for any other security software...
