I'm trying to get a KonicaMinolta Bizhub c360 to scan to email and I need more error information in order to really resolve it.
It had previously been able to use an external smtp server which didn't require authentication, but that server is being decomissioned. I put smtp in IIS on a local 2008 R2 machine and tested smtp by successfully sending a few emails via command line. the only difference here *should* be the smtp server IP address, but changing just that doesn't seem to work and when I view Job History I see that the scan failed and the only explanation is "job deleted due to error"
any idea how I might go about finding out more precisely what the issue is? I've looked at the smtp server and nothing appears in the queue.
