Kyocera Printers dropping client connections

We have several 400 & 255 Kyocera network printers that are installed on Server 2008 using the latest driver's (6.0) and then shared to our Windows 7 network.

2-3 times a day people lose the ability to print and receive messages such as "You need to install a printer before trying to print" or "Printer not found" or "can't access the printer." They can still ping the printer and connect to shared drives and internet.

To put a band-aid on this issue I log into the client computer as admin, remove the printer, then add the printer, and print a test page. Then, I log into the user account, add the printer, print a test page, all is well for an hour or so.

This fixes the issue for a short period of time but I have to do this to all users on the network so they can to print to the Kyocera's. (we only have Kyocera's) Kyocera said it maybe related to old drivers (5.2) so we upgraded on the print server. This did not change anything. Less than 2 weeks ago we install AVG anti-virus on our Print Server but disabled it due to these issues.

We aren't getting any static event error logs- just seems sporadic.

Please help! =)

Angela
