Print Server GPO

I have a new print server set up. I need to remove the old print servers printers. I was going to do this by GPO. Do I need to just create the GPO to remove the printers  and wait for the update to process and then I can remove the GPO? Or will I need to keep this GPO and create a new one to deploy the new print servers printers also.
