Printer installed correctly but still unable to connect?

I seem to be having a strange issue with one of my users computers. Apparently, even though I have installed the printer as a local printer (using an IP port) as I did on every other computer which is working just fine, her computer seems to have an issue where if we try to print from any program, it gives us an error that says that it cannot connect to the printer even though everything is fine on the device list in the Control Panel, and it sees it in the browser if I type in the address. We get this error whether we are on Chrome, Firefox, MS Office 2010, or whatever program we are in. Any ideas on what could be causing it? I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the printer, and elevating the user's permissions and that solved it...for a day. Then it was back to the same error. I'm a bit lost on this one so I thought I would throw it to the community for advice.
