I'm looking to augment and replace a lot of our more expensive to run printers with something that's cheaper to run. I've been looking at the M600 series, and I'm having a tough time deciding what to do. We use Papercut's "Find Me Printing" virtual queue here, so using HP is a must, because all of our other printers on that queue are HP.
Newegg has HP refurbished 4350s for $400. It's a 55ppm with 8 sec first page. To get equivalent speed out of an M600 line of printers, it'd have to be the M602, which will cost me twice as much per printer. The other thing I like about the 4350 is that I can get accessories (1500 page tray, stapler/stacker, etc.) for reasonably cheap. I could outfit a 4350 with a duplexer, stapler/stacker, and a 1500 page tray for about the cost of a stock M602. But the 602 is a new model of printer, while the...
