We have gone though 2 HP network printers and 2 brand new Xerox printers in the last 6mo and all do this.
They will be printing just fine for awhile, then randomly it will not print. It is not stuck in the Print cue on the PC. But if i switch the power off on the printer and power it back on, it will finish printing the pages it had started to send.
This printer sits in a public room and has to be used by 6 local users,
There is a 8 Port Gigabit Buffalo Switch connecting the PC's and the printer.
Any one have some more suggestions? this had become a hassle and hinders the work flow of this office..
The printer has a static IP on it as well.
I do have the standby on the printer set at 240min but this printer never really gets passed 5min of standby.
I have not been able to find a "Reason"
