How to clear print jobs from now defunct printer ip

Scratching my head...

We had a Kyocera 1128MFP printer attached to the network (Windows domain) with ip 172.16.30.94.

The printer died and sat unused for a couple weeks. Users of course continued to send jobs to the printer from their workstations until they listened to my instructions to use the "other" printer.

When I installed a new model printer and tried to use the same IP address it started printing automatically countless pages of erroneous data (mostly print jobs from past days that had been sent to the other model printer).

What is the best (most efficient) way to clear this data without allowing it to print? I tried 'net stop spooler' then restarted the printer but no success.

I would like to re-use the ip address of the old printer if possible.

Thanks,

Mze
