This saga is borderline insane.
Our stable of HP CLJ CP5520 Series printers is down to one as we have been unable to purchase Fuser and Toner Kits for these printers. At first the vendor told us they were backordered. After a month or two of that answer coupled with a ever moving 'they should be available on xx/xx/xx' date I was suspecting the vendor a bit.
I finally decided to go straight to the source - went straight to HP - only to find the item numbers were incredibly difficult to locate. Even the St Local Gov't rep admitted to it being a challenge.
There needs some expose' as it has been almost half a year with no Fuser kits - CE977A or Transfer Kits - CE516A available.
The 5520 Series is relatively a new and there should in no way be a supply chain issue keeping us from utilizing the ones we have!
Has anyone had any problems buying...
