I have a c.itoh/citizen CI-1000SQe printer on the network I've inherited. It's currently being shared by old desktop with a 2000 version of an IBM ProPrinter driver.
This has been working well enough for the users in the office and 32 bit XP, but we're moving to Windows 7 and the old 32 bit driver isn't going to play nice with a 64 bit version of Windows. Does anyone have any ideas about making this printer work with more modern systems?
This line printer is used with tractor feed, continuous paper for various reports used by accounting and the execs. Ideally I would like to be able to share the printer through our new server (also 64 bit), with the worst case scenario being replacing the hardware with something 64 bit compatible that will still do the tractor feed, continuous line printing.
Any suggestions, workarounds, or driver links would be greatly appreciated!
