Hey SpiceWorks Community, I'm having a printer issue.
I know that's the last thing you wanted to hear on a Friday, but it's got me stumped.
We have a HP Color LaserJet CM3530 MFP that is set to restrict color to everyone except a list of specified usernames. On (3) computers, this works fine. When they print, the job log shows the username of who printed the document no matter who they are or if they've even signed into that PC before. On the rest of the computers on the network, when a document is sent to print, no username shows up in the log. It's blank.
All of the computers get the printer installed via GP and they all have the same driver and default settings from the print server. I've tried manually installing the printer by IP address, bypassing the server, but this makes no difference.
