Initially i thought I was seeing things...
But it seems that the same cassette can be used for Laserjet P2055 and for canon LPB6300.
for example see here:http://www.amazon.co.uk/CE505X-Canon-Compatible-Black-Cartridge/dp/B00AQY7F30
This has very big cost implications as cassettes for the canon cost around 105. If a Laserjet P2055 can be used instead of canon's own brand, this will bring down toner costs as there are replica cassettes available for the P2055.
Anyone have any experience with this? Are printers these days being design around more standardtoner cassettes? is there some collaboration between Canon and HP?
