Hi Community, I need your help and I think this will be an easy one for the right person. This is what I'm trying to do:
I need to add a network printer Brother (HL-5250DN) to my network. I will admit that this is my first time doing it. It will be added to Windows Server 2008 and I already know the IP address which will be assigned to it. In my print management, Ive already gone into ports and made sure the ip address is listed. I've also gone into the Printer and added the printer in there. My problem is that this printer being an older one doesn't have an LCD screen for me to go in and change network settings. I have the printer connected to my laptop and I can print directly from it. I've tried going into printer properties, and then "Ports" and then added the port I've it mapped in server but no go.
