So I have an interesting problem that I am trying to fix on the cheap ;).
We have an HP T2300 Plotter that we use for design drawing and other big print jobs. We have locked the printer down via a security group and that group has print only allowed. The problem is that the settings we have set on the printer are not being carried over to the client PC's. How do I make the printer driver on the client PC keep the server settings?
The problem I am trying to fix on the cheap? When someone prints to the printer it immediatelyprints the print job, it does not hold the job in a queue despite the setting being selected on the printer settings page. The only way we have got it to work is to enable the option in printer properties "Show preview before printing" and we have it enabled on the server but it does not go down to the client. We...
