I'm having great difficulties with a client's printer at the moment.
I've just taken over support of their company due to the previous company's failings and wow, what a mess it was.
They have been having ongoing printing issues for several months. It's a small office consisting of 6x various (Intel) iMacs, a Mac Mini and a Macbook pro, OSs vary from 10.6, 10.9 and 10.10.
The network was a mess when I arrived, they have got two buildings next to each other wired by cat5 and each office has it's own wireless network (required to cover both buildings). Whatever the previous IT company was thinking they set it up on two subnets "to stop the two printers conflicting" apparently, the second subnet was just implemented using a cable router with the WAN port connected to the normal network, things couldn't talk to each other properly no one knew...
