I have spent the better part of the last week looking for an answer to this problem, but every answer I find is incorrect. I inherited this machine when I started working here, and have never had to do anything to it besides add people to the scan destinations. We are looking to re-purpose thiscopier and need to change it's network settings. However, it requires a password to access those screens, either in the web interface or on the touch panel.
Everywhere I read says that the NEC IT3640D is identical to the Konica Minolta 362, and while that is MOSTLY correct, the 362 has buttons on the panel that the IT3640D does not. Instructions to access the service mode include the following:
