We are trying out ringcentrals service to replace our analog fax lines.
I configured the number to be voice only as directed by ringcentral support so that the faxes go straight to the ata device then the fax machine as faxes.
The problem I am having is that the printer, a HP MFC 1536 does not recieve the faxes. It will ring and attempt to connect to the call but after a couple of seconds the printer displays a message saying "No Fax Detected"
On the printer I ran the Fax Test report and it passed the 4 steps checking an active telephone line, that the phone cord is connected, the telephone line current test, and the dial tone detection test. I have also turned off error correction, changed the fax speed to medium, and changed the baud rate for incoming faxes on the printer.
The printer is able to send faxes through the ata device...
