I recently upgraded a customers network from an old SBS 2003 server and Windows XP to all new Windows 7 desktops and SBS 2011. They have a Canon IR C2380 al in one for copying\scanning\printing. However when I point the address book entries for scanning to the new file server I keep on getting an access denied message.
Note I have created a share called scans on the server with folders for each user set under it. A generic user of scanner with password scanner has been set on the server for access to this folder.
These settings have worked for me with many other manufacturers printers and some canon ones as well. I ws hoping to avoid to setup caning to a folder on each individual PC so these scan folders can all be centrally backed up.
I have attached a copy of the address book entry I an trying to create. The manuals from Canon's web site are near useless at explaining this to me..
If anybody can help that would be grand...
