trying to allow non-admin domain users on Windows 7 (some x86 some x64) to print to two different Konica bizhubs. We have a 2003 print server that has the universal Konica PS driver & a specific model PCL driver on it and either way users can't connect and print. With the specific model # when users connect to the queue the window says "must update driver" and it fails since it requires an admin login.
I read somewhere there's a group policy restriction that can be relaxed that allows regular users to pull in print drivers. We don't have this problem with our HP universal PS driver. Not sure I want to do this...
Our workaround is print to PDF then upload through the web page of the printer, but it's not that great of a solution...
