Anybody have suggestions for printers that have an optional 2nd tray that don't cost an arm and a leg? I don't want to pay $800+ for a large volume printer as these are going on individual desks - legal secretaries that print a lot of legal sized pages but their total volume is well below what is needed for a "workgroup" printer.
I've used a few different ones in the past - Samsung has a few models with an optional tray but the tray itself is often hard to source and costs more than the printer itself. When all is said and done, I'm looking at close to $500 and that's with a minimum mark up. I think that's a little high for a low volume printer. While I've been happy with these, the customers are not as they seem to retain the last paper size setting when you print an envelope to the drop down tray causing grief when they print...
