So today I had an end user call me about a situation I gave up on a month ago. I had totally forgot the issue never got resolved but with the one man IT team sometimes its hard to maintain about 150 users.
Now I know this might sound like a really easy fix but I have done everything I know and I feel like I ruled it out to being "bad ink" but new eyes on any situation never hurt.
But this brings me to the question why won't this printer print in color? We have a Sharp MX-3140N Printer. It will print just fine with any black and white document. It will not print color documents. However it will ONLY sometimes print color and B/W documents for example in for troubleshooting reasons I decided to make a word document with half color text half B/W text. It printed surprisingly but the text I colored red was simply a light grey instead.
