We have three Zebra 105SL Label Printers in our machine shop connected to Bradbury roll forming machines. We rarely have issues with them and Bradbury doesn't provide much "free" support.
The printer has two problems. It was printing out an extra label and a half for each one. Also, the cylinder that feeds the thermal ribbon seems to stop grabbing and spinning normally but not sure if this is normal or not.
Some troubleshooting steps I found were to load the defaults on the printer but now it will not print at all. It is a serial connect so tried all for COM ports. It will send the job when connected to COM1 and COM2 but not print. On COM3 and COM4, it will actually error out.
I asked Bradbury for info on default parameters for the printer and they've been unable to help. I may go to another printer and see if it will print out settings...
