Brother printer MFC-J6170DW causes browsers to freeze (not responding) when trying to print to it. This is not necessarily browser specific. IE freezes entirely and has to be force closed, while Firefox will hang and eventually allows me to print.
I have:
Reinstalled adobe reader
reinstalled adobe acrobat x
reinstalled printer driver
reinstalled printer suite
reinstalled IE / rolled back versions (tried with version 9, 10, and 11)
I have tried with just the printer driver, with just the printer suite, using acrobat as the default pdf viewer, using reader as the default, and all combinations of the aforementioned with windows 9, 10, and 11. Same result every time.
I can print to other network printers without issue. This one is directly connected to the PC. I can print a test page, and print from other applications like Word, Excel, etc. The...
