We've got a couple of Zebra printers on site and one of them keeps on giving me grief.
We are using it as a thermal transfer printer which requires a printer ribbon to be installed. The printer and driver settings both state that the machine is in Thermal Transfer mode but I keep getting an error telling me that there is a ribbon installed.
To clear the error I have to go through the printers menu, switch it in to direct thermal mode, and then back in to thermal transfer mode, but after each print I get back to the same error.
It's starting to get really annoying now, it's also affected the speed at which the printer operates.
Does anyone have any idea how this can be resolved please?
