We have recently been testing our new print server which is on Windows Server 2012 R2. Whilst testing we have been discovering very weird problems with officejets printing a blank page after every print. This only occurs when you print from a PC, not when doing a test page from the server. We have two different Officejet models in the company, the 8100 and the 8000. On the server, both models of Officejet is using the 'HP Officejet Pro PCL3 Class Driver' we have tried using the specific drivers for each but still the problem persists.
I have enabled 'Branch Office Direct Printing' on both models of printer. This fixed the problem for me and my colleague, but no one else. We put this down to us using Windows 8.1 (all other machines on Windows 7 Pro).
