I have just recently taken over as an IT Admin for an area church with a variety of issues. The one persistent issue that has been driving the staff (and me) slightly nutty is a relatively new Ricoh MP C6502 printer in the main office.
For some reason it will work just fine and then 5 minutes later it can be non-responsive to several of the staff members in the office. When this behavior starts I am unable to access the static IP for the printer and cannot access the web interface. When I look at the screen on the machine itself and check things all appears to be fine. After 5 to 45 minutes the machine seems to come back to life and will often start printing any jobs that were sent to it. We've tried a variety of different drivers as well as firmware updates on the printer itself. So far nothing has changed the behavior....
