So I replaced the USB cable on an old HP laserjet 1200 and when I put the cover back on, the paper feeding on the top above the fuser is just spinning endlessly without taking any paper. I tried sending a print job to it and nothing. It is almost as if it is endlessly calibrating. I'm going to try and bring it up here and see how long it goes for. I let it go 2 minutes before I realized that someone was going to ask me what all the noise was. Has anyone run across this before? Also, a power cycle did not stop it.
