Many of my users need to print labels on Avery 8.5x11 size sheets and don't seem to grasp that using the laser printers for this is a bad idea. One of our departments, despite being asked not to do this, has actually wrecked one of our production printers by running partially-used sheets of labels through. Of course one peeled off on our imaging unit...
As I don't see them not printing labels in the near future, I'm looking to into setting up a few inkjet printers for them to use instead. Here are our requirements:
- Needs to be networkable; this can be done through wired or wireless; we can support either (wired is preferred, though).
- Should be small-ish. We're limited on space so we'll only have about a 2x2 ft space for it to sit in each department.
- Low-toner cost is a major plus.
Dose anyone have any recommendations? I'm open to monochrome...
