For some reason, starting yesterday afternoon, I've had a big influx of users calling me to say that their application has crashed when attempting to print. This goes for just about anything, IE, Chrome, Excel, you name it. When they attempt to print, whatever application they are in suddenly shows no printers exist, and then crashes.
I've gone so far as to make a batch file to stop the print spooler, clear cashe, restart print spooler, and that will fix the issue temporarily. However, I've had some users continue to have the crashing after a bit of time. The batch file is a temporary fix but I need to find out why it happened to some users and not others.
About our environment: None of these computers are on a domain, and there are no central print servers. These printers are either locally attached or attached through network. But it's...
