I just spent the afternoon carefully cleaning the paper paths of two laser printers that were leaving specks of toner on the envelopes the secretary was printing. I used compressed air to clear out any loose debris, and cleaned the rollers and anything else that could contact the paper with a link free cloth and a 91% Isopropyl Alcohol.
I'm thinking that other printers could probably use a decent cleaning too, but since it's just me here, I'm wondering if anyone else pays someone to come in and do this? I have no maintenance contracts on most of these, so it would be a one-off with a new company. Interested if they would do anything more effective than what I did.
