Looking for some help with Canon printer drivers.
We have a Canon i-sensys LBP6300 printer, which is deployed from our Windows 2008 r2 server. It seems the deployment has been done using the CAPT driver, and it seems that due to that I'm finding it impossible to make GPO stick (I only want this printer deployed to a specific group of people). What I'm finding is that the printer installs itself to pretty much every user, even to those not allowed. Not only that, but it sets itself as default printer in most cases.
Does anyone have experience with the CAPT driver, and can anyone explain what's different about the CAPT driver and how its supposed to work?
There are non-CAPT drivers available, but before I switch to those I'd like to at least understand the problem...
