Print job won't delete from a network printer

I have a Dell C3760dn printer set up as a network printer on my server. 2003. There is a print job that will not delete. Two questions:

1) short of uninstalling and reinstalling this printer, how do I get the document to delete? I've gone into the control panel, Devices & Printers, found thenetwork printer, right clicked, cancel all documents. Didn't delete.I have stopped, restarted the print spooler, there's nothing in the Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS file. I've tried deleting the document in the queue directly from my server and from the end user that generated the print job. I've turned off the printer, restarted print spooler, tried to delete the document...nothing.I have tried everything and it just will not delete.
