I have an HP LaserJet 1300n printer that scans and populates its information, and then later scans again and shows up as a new printer with the serial number as XXXXXXXXXXXX. I have tried deleting both printers and rerunning scans. I would then get one of them with the serial number as expected and later again another one with the Xs for the serial number.
Not sure what is going on. Any help would be appreciated.
