update existing, and uninstall the update

I have a weird issue with our T1300 printer, ONLY with X64 windows 7 machines. Allow me to explain.

If I install the T1300 on any windows XP machine (we only have X86) the T1300 runs fine, forever. We had it installed on vista, same tale ran fine forever. Now we have 5 X64 windows 7 machines, 3 of them seem to have this stupid issue where the following happens.

T1300 gets installed and runs perfectly for 1 week all the way to 8 weeks with no problem, then out of nowhere CAD says "we need to install drivers for this to work", and the error is displayed on the printer, can't be used until you install drivers. Well the drivers haven't been updated or modified so why does it need to change is beyond me. If we opt to not change them, it won't print, if we opt to change them it installs... and then CAD can't recognize the printer anymore... my only option is to uninstall the printer, uninstall the drivers, then reinstall it. Tuh dah it works for another week to 8 weeks.

Its really annoying, I don't love the idea of doing a quick fix every other day, is there any option that you guys are aware of that'll stop this issue from ever happening again?
