I have an HP P4015 printer #CB509A with a 5-box mailbox #CB520A
When I print from tray 1 and route the paper to the mailbox any bin 1-5 there is a clang/rattle every time If I print from tray 1 and send it to the normal/top output bin no noise. ie the noise is coming from the mailbox I used plain paper as well as the preprinted paper used in tray 1 so probably not the paper.
I can print from tray 2 and no noise when using the mailbox.
2 year old printer didn't make noise before the noise just started recently. Hoping to replace the parts if possible or even better change a printer setting.
I have tried removing and re-installing the mailbox
Tray 1 is set up size:letter type:preprinted Tray 2 is size:Letter type:plain
We have preprinted paper that can only print from Tray 1. The paper was printed >18 months ago and over time @12 months it started jamming from Tray 2 even though any other paper printed fine from Tray 2. So the paper being printed is non-standard but I don't believe it to be the issue (but it does have issues with the mailbox).
Any ideas. Really like the mailbox hate to lose it.
Thanks
