We have an unusual constraint after a corporate change. All of our image Runner printers were moved to a new and physically independent network essentially making it a separate network, there is no physical connection to the legacy network. However we have workstations on the legacy network that need printing.
The first answer for me was to create a VLAN for the printers and then route traffic, however I was then wondering, can we simply use the USB port on the image Runner C5XXX series and bring up a print server to allow printing on the legacy network.
The question is then can the image Runner use the USB and Ethernet Simultaneously?
Thanks
