I have an XPSP3 PC that is connected to an HP LJ4100 via USB cable. When the user goes on a break, she is relieved by a person that logs in to her own PC via RDP. The remote PC is Win 7 64-bit. She needs to have the LJ4100 installed on her PC (the one that she logs into remotely) so she can print to it.
So far, there is no actual driver for the printer for Win 7 so I've tried to use the universal print driver. I cannot install the printer. I've also tried to connect through the IP address of the PC that the printer is attached to (yes, the printer is shared out).
If anyone has any ideas on how to connect the printer to the RDP PC it would be appreciated.
