My company has about 120 employees, and has a volume of roughly 200-300 outgoing faxes a day which range anywhere from 5-100 pages in size. We current have an Opentext fax appliance a10x with 4 analog lines, and it is not cutting it. We have had small problems with it from day one, but as we have grown (added 50 employees in the last year and still expanding) it has become more and more of a pain. I am not very familiar with faxing and just got the job of replacing/fixing ours. I spoke with some people at TW telecom that seemed to think our 4 analog lines should be able to handle this volume just fine, unfortunately it is not. Should 4 analog lines be sufficient for this type of volume? If so, does anyone have any recommendations for fax appliances? if not, what is the preferred method to handle this?
