We’re evaluating MFPs and have a Konica on loan.
One thing we’re struggling with is finding a simple way to do Secure Print or Reserve Print.
It seems that you have to specify a “Document ID” as well as a PIN and when you walk to the printer you have to type one or both pieces of info in to be able to view/retrieve your print jobs.
Other printer vendors seem to have a simpler and smarter system where the printer gets your username automatically from the print job so you simply walk up to the machine, and on the panel you'd go to "Held Jobs" and you'd see and select your name which is much simpler.
How do you Konica users handle Secure Print release assuming you aren't using cards with Follow-Me?
