alternative to Sharp Network Scanner Tool

We are using Sharps NetScanTool (NST) to manage our Sharp scanners.   Problem is someone has to be logged into the PC that hold the application for the scanners to work.  This would be fine, but it is also our print server, and a couple of other applications.  Invariably when it gets rebooted, it doesnt get logged into, and then no one can scan.

I am looking for an alternative, . We have many users that move around and the scanners are spread out over the campus. To manually go to each one and do this is not practical nor is a good use of my time, several hours each time, several times a week.  The NST allows you to add the user once and push it out to all the scanners, 5 minutes tops.

I know I can add a scan to network address on the scanner itself, but it . IIt has to be setup by user, as there are some confidential docs that get scanned.

We tried using a exe as a service solution, but it does not work with the Sharp NST.

Does anyone have a solution or workaround ?
