Local Printer Spooler keeps crashing

We have an odd issue here with all our printers.

It started late Friday afternoon, 30 minutes before we close.  I cleared the print queue since something was stuck, tried sending something to print to the printer after it came back on and as soon as I did so it appeared as being offline.  I then shut it off, unplugged everything and tried again and the same thing happened, it went from appearing active to showing as being offline as soon as I sent something to print to it.  It was past 5 at this point and we figured maybe it would resolve itself with our weekly reboots over the weekend.  Also worth noting these printers had been working fine for weeks or a month without any issue.

Monday morning the issue was still there so I removed the printer from our network entirely and re-added it.  The printer then worked fine for the next 2 hours or so and then the same issue came back.  I then removed it again and re-added it.

This time I just tried printing from our terminal server, since the majority of printing is done from here, from the users that were having the issue and it worked fine for all of them!  I then added it to their local desktop and while the printer was not appearing offline at this point the printer spooler crashed as soon as they tried sending something to any printer.  I changed the settings for the spooler service to attempt to restart the service after the first, second and subsequent failures but I will still have to go in and manually start it back up.  I have even kept this open and watched it switch from started to stopped when an attempt was made to print.  The spooler is also crashing when users try to print to pdf.

This is only effecting about 6 individuals in our company and they all sit near each other.  Other users, including myself, are able to print from their local desktops to the same printers that these other individuals are having issues with.

I am at my whits end trying to figure out what this issue is!!
