Samsung CLP-775 Color Laser - toner cartridge reset

I picked up a used Samsung CLP-775 Color Laser Printer and when I first got it connected to the network, all the toner cartridges were showing over 50% toner level. I updated the firmware to the latest level and discovered the toner cartridges are now all at 0%. I read somewhere that Samsung added this great feature in their firmware to disallow OEM toner cartridges. Has anyone found a work-around to fix this problem? I have not been able to find an old version of the firmware to revert back to the previous level.
