Hello, fellow Spiceheads,
We recently got a new printer/copier, a Kyocera TASKalfs 3010i KX. Overall, the device seems to be working as advertised, no complaints there.
But today, I received a complaint from the people who are sitting in the office where that machine is standing. Apparently - and I can confirm this - the machine makes a soft chirping noise every ~15-45 seconds. I did not measure if the interval is _exactly_ regular, but it seems to be semi-regular.
It kind of sounds like the sound might come from the machine's internal hard disk.
I cannot tell for sure, but the people who are sitting in that office assure me it is very annoying after a couple of hours.Has anyone experienced a similar problem and found a solution?
Or should I just tell my users to turn on some music or something?
Thanks in advance for any input and have a beautiful day!
