Hello fellow Spiceheads,
My girlfriends mom has had this Photosmart printer for 5 years and hasn't worked for 2 years now. Being the kind hearted guy I am I decided to take a look at it and see if I can fix it but now I'm not sure if its even worth my time. When plugged in, outlet is good and the correct power cord is in, nothing will turn on except the scanner light. I try hitting the power button but nothing happens, no movement inside and no noises, strange enough the only thing that looks to be getting power is the scanner light as it is always on when printer is plugged in.
Has anybody had a similar issue or offer any advice? I'm okay with just throwing it out the second floor window! :-P
