I have:
1 pc windows 7 x64 with name pc1 that shares printer1 with name printer1 and printer2 with name printer2
1 pc with name pc2 that connects to printer 1 with name "printer1 on pc1"
1 pc with name pc3 that connects to printer2 with name "printer2 on pc1"
I need the name of printer on pc2 and pc3 to be the same example "printer on pc1". I know that I cannot rename the shared name on pc2 and pc3. I have also tried to connect to printers by creating local port with name \\pc1\printer1 and then try to rename the local printer but there is a software on pc1 that cannot work when I send prints by this way. Is there any way from pc1 to share printer1 and printer2 with the same name so as pc2 and pc3 have the same printer name?
