I have Brother HL-2270DW printer, and its drum is approaching the EOL. New drum costs approximately $63, new printer is $99.99. Current printer is out of warranty. Would you buy new printer, that gives you the drum for 12000 pages, 1 year warranty, and toner for 1000-1200 pages, or just the drum?
There are compatible drums available for about $30, but we haven't had much luck with non-oem drums in Brother printers.
