I've had an awful experience with the Zebra ZP 505 printer provided by FedEx. For some reason all the Zebra printers send out SNMP broadcasts by default. Our syslog server is collecting the logs and blasting off email to our inboxes. I have two other Zebra printers, a GK420D and a Z4MPlus. On both of those I was able to disable the SNMP broadcasts using this Support article: Stopping ZebraNet Print Server from Sending Multiple Alerts. It was really difficult to find ZebraNet View so if anyone needs it, it's located here.
First I tried to disable SNMP with ZebraNet Bridge since I already had it installed and I know it worked with the Z4MPlus. For some reason it wasn't working and I couldn't see the print server. Even worse this somehow triggered the printer to start sending out 1500 SNMP messages per hour which meant a lot of email to...
