I have two Brothers printers (MFC-9125CN & MFC-9970CDW) that I'm sharing through a samba server with a CUPS backend.
I wanted to have the Windows computers on my network process the job on their machines and use the Windows drivers provided by GPO (point n' print). I have this all setup. CUPS is setup to use a RAW print driver and the print drivers are installed from the [print$] share.
However, I have just discovered that the Brothers printers are not able to print in Color (and I would assume other things as well). I have one other printer (Konica Minolta C353) that works correctly. If I print a test page from CUPS it comes out in color. For instance on the 9125CN it uses driver "mfc9125.ppd" and prints color. Print a test page from windows though and it uses driver name "BROCHA8A.DLL" and driver version "1.07" and only...
