In our environment we have users printing multiple documents simultaneously that need to go out as one package. Everyone prints to the same printer, and so to stop interleaving documents, we print to mailboxes (Canon ir-ADV C5051)
I would like to find a way to automatically assign each user a mailbox, and create the print profile from the print server, and push the settings out through GP. We currently have our printers distributed by GP, but we have to set the "Store" destination to a default mailbox and have the users update it before printing.
This becomes an issue when our terminal servers reset the printer preferences and users end up printing to an unknown mailbox.
My solution (which would be tedious) would be to create a separate printer for each user, setting the respective mailbox as the default setting, and assigning the...
