I have a pod of 5 workstations that supports 15 employees who rotate in and out of each position according to availability (it's a 24 hour environment).
Since we moved these folks over to Windows 7, I am constantly responding to requests to install printer drivers for individual users. They have the option of a network printer and a shared printer. Since they cannot install drivers I have to be nearby the first time the try to access one of those printers.
I know there must be a better way. Yes, in the old days, installing that printer once per workstation as an admin cured all problems. Windows 7 has not been my friend in this regard.
Hoping that there is an easy answer. Here's hoping for an 'a ha' moment. Thanks.
